Placement

Campus placement in Vishveshwarya Group of Institutions, is a facility provided for interested final year students. It is mandatory for all eligible students to appear in all companies coming for campus recruitment, till they get placed or else he / she will be strictly debarred from the entire placement season.
Students not interested in placement are requested not to register for it.

Eligibility Criteria & Placement Registration

All students who expect to graduate / post graduate from VGI, by the end of the academic year and are seeking employment.
Each student should register to the placement cell with the filled registration form and submit the hard copy of the student- placement registration form to the placement officer along with their resume.
All students who wish to take part in the Institute campus placements should register for soft skills program organized by the institute.
All students should compulsorily attend all the soft skills classes failing which needs to the cancellation of placement registration.

Guaranteed Placement

VGI promises the student a secure placement, provided that he / she:
Secures at least 85% attendance in the all academic programs and co-curricular activities.
Secures minimum 75% marks in academic and non-academic assessments. Students will be provided adequate training to help them in achieving the highest levels of academic and personality accomplishments and we expect them to work hard and improve in the same.
Is open to all sectors / functions and locations.
Shows 100% adherence with disciplinary and placement rules.
Will work in placed company for min 1 year duration.
Any student who passes with 80% or above marks in assessment will get guaranteed placement by the Corporate Resource Department (CRD) and DIOS.
In our experience, those who work hard and show a strong personality (attaining 75%+ in internal assessments) find it very easy to get a good job. However, those who score poorly, despite the rigorous training provided by the college, may still find it difficult to get a good job. Generally, those who score 60%-75% get an assured job. The guarantee assumes full flexibility on kind of job, and stands nullified if the candidate is not open minded.

Resume – Student Placement Registration

Information regarding company visits will be provided through announcements /notice boards. Students are advised to check the details from time to time.
Students are expected to follow the Institute resume template available in the college for preparing the resumes.
The details of the resume have to be genuine and any student found violating this rule will not be permitted to apply for placements for the rest of the academic year.
Depending on the profile/requirements laid by the respective company, a detailed resume should be prepared in an attractive manner and submitted within the deadline. Late submission will not be considered for the test/interview.
Students have to always carry one folder with them containing hard board, attested mark sheets, certificates, passport size photographs and resumes.
The placement facility is available to all the students registered with Corporate Resource Department (CRD) cell through the policy one job to one student at the first instance. This will ensure that every student will get equal job opportunities and only few students do not consume up all the jobs.

We at VGI are committed to placements for all our students, for that, we shape our students by delivering soft skills and technical trainings during their respective courses so that they can crack aptitude test and personal interviews. During this drive we have a collaboration with DIOS as a training and recruitment partner, which will make our journey of placements and trainings effective ,smooth and easier. We assure job guarantee to all our students but they have to devote few hours with us to nurture their skills. Infosys BPM, C Core India, Raps Automotive, Sood tower and Constructions, Taxtron Technologies, Magnus International and many more company visited this year, and we are expecting many more big brands in the coming years.
