Statutory Committees

Anti-Ragging, IQAC, SC/ST, Internal Complaints, Grievance Redressal, IIC and other statutory bodies that operate at VIP.

A zero-tolerance committee that enforces UGC anti-ragging regulations on campus, monitors hostels and runs awareness sessions through the year.

Constituted under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013. Receives, investigates and adjudicates complaints with due process.

Channel for any student or parent grievance — academic, administrative or behavioural. Tracks each complaint to a documented resolution.

Looks after the welfare and grievances of students from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, in line with statutory requirements.

Owns the institute’s outcome-based education metrics, AICTE submissions and continuous improvement plans.

Under MIC, Ministry of Education. Runs ideathons, hackathons, student-startup support and industry-academia events.

Each student is assigned a mentor pod of 15–20 students; the cell coordinates academic intervention, attendance and parental contact.

Statutory women’s helpline as required for educational institutions in Uttar Pradesh — published numbers and escalation path.

Runs onboarding, pedagogy upskilling and continuous professional development for the teaching faculty across all five branches.

Single point of contact for industry partnerships — internships, MoUs, guest lectures and collaborative projects.

Umbrella body for student clubs across technical, cultural, sports and innovation activities on campus.
